This is the story of Murrisk village at the foot of Croagh Patrick on the shores of Clew Bay and its relationship with the sea.
The history begins with the arrival of the monks in 1456, through to the experiences of local people during the Great Hunger and the lives of the fishermen and their families who depended on the sea.
